No. The language setting translates the application itself, meaning navigation, labels, and warning or error messages, but it does not translate resource descriptions or any other content an institution has entered into WebCheckout. That content stays in whatever language staff originally entered.

Who can choose a different display language in WebCheckout?

Both WebCheckout staff, working in the main application, and patrons, using Patron Portal, can each select their own display language independently. One person's choice never changes what anyone else sees.

Do institutions still need an image's URL to add a photo in WebCheckout?

Accepted Answer

Technically yes, but staff no longer have to find or type it themselves. A copy-attachment-URL button now generates that link automatically, so adding a photo to a resource type or checkout center takes one click instead of a manual search.
